North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth, Town Clerk Wayne Wink, and Receiver of Taxes Charles Berman recently attended the Lakeville Estates Civic Association’s final 2019 meeting and Holiday Party on Nov. 20 at the Manhasset Lakeville Firehouse in New Hyde Park.
Bosworth was the guest speaker during the meeting, and touched on topics including veterans, flood gates at the Throgs Neck Bridge, litigation against opioid manufacturers and the FAA, 5G wireless technology, the North Hempstead Board of Zoning Appeals, and the Town’s recent approval balloon legislation.
Bill Cutrone, president of the Lakeville Estates Civic Association, presented Supervisor Bosworth with the Civic’s 2019 Unsung Hero Award for her outstanding unselfish service to others.
