Temple Judea is excited to welcome media personality Dr. Ruth Westheimer as the guest speaker at its annual gala. At the June 2 celebration, “A Gala of Light: A Night to Celebrate the Power of Perseverance,” Dr. Ruth will share her experiences as a Holocaust survivor and a member of the Israeli Haganah.
The evening’s honorees, Jack and Judit Ungar and Randi and Brad Butwin, each have persevered in pursuing their own significant life accomplishments. The honorees will be celebrated with dinner and dancing in the synagogue’s newly renovated lavish ballroom. The event runs from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will also feature a silent auction.
