Town honors Port businessperson of the year Drina Scheiber

North Hempstead, NY – North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth, Council Member Viviana Russel, Peter Zuckerman, Angelo Ferrara, Lee Seeman and Town Clerk Wayne Wink attended the Nassau Council of Chambers of Commerce (NCCC) 35th Annual Small Business Person of the Year and Legislative Breakfast on October 18. The NCCC recognized honoree Drina Scheiber of the Port Washington Chamber of Commerce for supporting the local economy and for her dedication to her Chamber. The NCCC is an umbrella organization of over 20 local Chambers that represent over 6,000 businesses. NCCC President Francesca Carlow and the board of directors spearheaded the event at Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury. The NCCC is a large part in generating over a $100 billion a year in revenue in Long Island.
