Town to hold Christmas Tree Lighting at “Yes We Can” Community Center sponsored by the Long Island Nets and PSEG Long Island

The Town of North Hempstead will be holding the 5th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at the “Yes We Can” Community Center in Westbury on Friday, Dec. 13 at 5 p.m.

The tree, a newly-planted 14 foot Norway Spruce, was donated by the Long Island Nets to the New Cassel Community and the “Yes We Can” Community Center as its official practice location.

The celebration will also include performances by the “Yes We Can” Community Band and “Yes We Can” Kids, as well as a visit from Santa and friends, courtesy of the Westbury Fire Department and free hot chocolate provided by the Salvation Army.
