Tax Grievance Discussion

Nassau County’s approach to assessments is unique. It is one of the only seven counties in the state that assess on a county-wide basis. This makes for an interesting collection of challenges and solutions for property owners. Attorney Michael Reynolds will discuss the numbers behind your tax bill, what the county is looking for in determining fair market value, and what it isn’t.

Weight Loss Hypnosis
Thursday, April 4 at 7 p.m.
Certified hypnotist John George will demonstrate how hypnosis can help you lose weight and keep it off. He will discuss why we eat when we’re not hungry, as well as why diets don’t really work. You will also have the opportunity to experience a hypnosis session learning to eat healthier and smaller portions. $5 per person. Must pre-register and pay in the library
