Join Louise Cella Caruso for an art lecture/slide presentation about the analogy between the female and a blooming garden on Tuesday, June 18 at 2 p.m. in the Main Library’s Community Room, 159 Bayview Ave. In this PowerPoint presentation, you will see paintings by: W. Homer, P. Gauguin, A. Botticelli, C. Monet, U. Hiroshige II, E.B. Jones, J.W. Waterhouse, J. H. Fragonard, J.B. Lepage, P. de Hooch, G. Caillebotte; and more.
Louise Cella Caruso has a certification in Art and Antique Appraising from C.W. Post’s Appraisal Institute. She continued study at museums in the US and Europe.

A reception for the Student Art Exhibit from Great Neck North and South will be held on Thursday, June 20 from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Main Library Gallery, 159 Bayview Ave. The selection of artwork on display until June 20 includes photographs, drawings, paintings, and mixed media.
