Attend the Park District Job Fair, Tuesday, April 16 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Great Neck House, 14 Arrandale Ave. You will find many seasonal/part-time jobs available throughout the Park District including Parkwood Pool, Indoor/Outdoor Tennis, Camps, Recreation, Marina/Sailing staff, Summer Performing Arts, Parks, Security, Office/Clerical. Pick-up an application, schedule an interview or have one on-the-spot. Everyone over the age of 16, with a wide range of schedules, is welcome to apply. Weekend Movie at Great Neck House: “The Old Man & the Gun” (2018)
Directed by David Lowery “The Old Man & the Gun” is playing at Great Neck House on Friday, April 12 at 8 p.m., Saturday, April 13 at 5 and 8 p.m. and Sunday, April 14 at 7:30 p.m. The film, starring Robert Redford, Casey Affleck and Sissy Spacek, is based on the true story of Forrest Tucker and his daring escape from San Quentin at the age of 70. It is rated PG-13 and runs 1h 33 min. Park pass required for admission to Great Neck House.
Nature Program: Spring Seasonal Stroll
On Sunday, April 14, 11 a.m., join a stroll, designed to observe seasonal changes in Kings Point Park, where you can focus on baby birds and savor nature’s rebirth in spring. Defensive Driving Classes at Great Neck House Great Neck House

Camp Parkwood 2019 Registration Camp
Parkwood is designed for each child to attain their personal best while having a seriously fun time. Age appropriate activities (ages 3 and up), optional door-to-door bus service (ages 4+), complimentary towel service and Tweens Travel Program (grades six through eight) plus new this summer, Leaders In Training for ages 14 and 15 and Camp Parkwood Sports Camp option for grades 3-5. Complete Your Survey Recently. Great Neck residents may have received a survey in the mail from the Park District. These surveys were mailed to 3,000 random Park District addresses. If you received a one, it is crucial for you to fill it out and return it as soon as possible, to help us meet the current and future needs of our community. An online survey will be available to every resident toward the end of April. We have posted the Technical Report for the Master Plan Public Engagement Summary. If you were unable to participate in our first public engagement, you now can check out what residents had to say about the Park District. You can view this on our website at gnparks.org. Be part of the change that will affect our future in the Great Neck Park District.
Moorings Available at Steppingstone Marina Deep
Water moorings with launch service is available for the 2019 season at Steppingstone Marina. Moorings are available on a first-come, first-served basis. A limited number of moorings are available to out-of-district residents for an additional fee. Also available are ramp use permits (non-resident fee applies) and beach boat registration (residents only).
