Tuesday, August 4 at 7 p.m. FIFTY SHADES OF GREEN LAWN. Learn how to make your lawn an environmentally friendly green space with strategies for maintaining a healthy and attractive landscape. New grass types, watering and organic amendments will be explored. Suitable ground covers and other plantings will be introduced as complements and alternatives to grass. Presented by the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County.

Friday, August 7 at 7 p.m. COFFEE HOUSE CONCERT Dori-Jo is a 21-year-old singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Long Island. She performs a variety of genres, primarily folk-rock and pop music from the 1960’s and 1970’s. Dori-Jo currently studies songwriting and vocal performance at Adelphi University.
