1939 Film Festival Opening Lecture

Join film historian Keith Crocker as he introduces Mineola Memorial Library’s series highlighting the cinematic achievements of the Hollywood output of 1939. Film historians consider 1939 to be “the greatest year in the history of Hollywood.” Crocker will also take a peek at some of the films that will be screened in the upcoming months. LEGO Builder Buddies
Tuesdays, April 9, 16, 23 and 30, 4 to 5 p.m.
Children in kindergarten and up can play with Legos and build Lego structures with the help of a buddy (teen volunteer). If there is time, they may also play board games together with their buddy (Legos and games belong to the library and are not to be taken home).
