Long Island Cares Food Drive
Monday, Oct. 28-Friday, Nov. 22
We will be collecting healthy food donations for Long Islanders in need. Please donate food that is low sodium and low sugar. Please, no glass jars, and please do not give expired food items. Our box will be located in front of the Circulation Desk. Thank you!

Celebrate the release of the Frozen 2 movie! These two princesses and sisters will come to the library to tell a story, and then host a grand sing along. Children and adults alike are more than welcome to watch and participate. Please register in the Children’s Room or call 516-746-8488 ext. 1.

Tail Waggin’ Tutors
Sit with and read to a trained therapy dog to practice your reading skills and use your artistic skills to paint a ceramic puppy planter to take home with you! Please come dressed for a mess (smock or old clothes), and please choose your books ahead of time to bring with you to this program. Each child will be assigned a number for their turn to read. Come play the new Pokemon game with your friends! Make Pokemon-themed crafts and earn badges to call yourself the greatest Pokemon trainer in the region.

Teen Hangout
Join us as we play games and unwind in our Community Room. Enjoy Xbox, Wii games. Bring your own games or simply hang out.
