Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth and Town Clerk Wayne Wink visited Manorhaven Elementary School on Oct. 17 to participate in the Manorhaven read aloud. Bosworth read to children in Ms. Drucker’s 5th-grade class for their annual community read-aloud.

The supervisor read the book “Someone Loves You, Mr. Hatch” by Eileen Spinelli, which relates how small acts of kindness can change a person’s life.

Wink read “A Beginners Guide to Bear Spotting” by Michelle Robinson to Mrs. Salazar’s Kindergarten class. The book is about a young bear spotter who explores bear country.
