American Legion Post 509 is proud to announce that there will
be a parade again this Veterans Day Thursday, November 11
at 10:00 a.m.
All local Veterans are encouraged to join American Legion Post
509 and VFW Henderson-Marino Post 1819 at 10:00 a.m. on
Campus Drive.
Military-style vehicles will be available for all
Veterans who would like to participate. Together with the Port
Washington Fire Department, Port Washington and Sands Point
Police Departments we will parade from Campus Drive along
Port Blvd and down Main Street to the Sousa Band Shell.
We encourage all of our community members to come out and
view the parade anywhere along our route, and show your
support for our local Veterans.
Everyone is invited to join us at 11:00 AM for our Veterans Day Ceremony at the Sousa Band Shell (next to the Town Dock).
