The 2nd annual “Port’s Got Talent” variety show will be held on Saturday, Oct. 5 at Landmark’s Jeanne Rimsky Theater.
Singers, dancers, instrumentalists and other entertainers aged 10 and older are encouraged to try out for this fabulous show that benefits the Port Washington Adult Activities Center. One audition was held on Aug. 20, but a second tryout is scheduled for Sept. 5 from 7 to 9:00 p.m. at the center located at 80 Manorhaven Blvd.
Performers need to schedule an audition timeslot by calling (516) 883-6656. Please bring sheet music or a karaoke version of a song on a CD or smartphone to the audition. A cappella auditions are also fine. A brief performance bio is appreciated, but not necessary.
Proceeds from the event will help support programming and other activities at the senior center. Event sponsorship opportunities are also available for as little as $100.
