The first-ever “Port Washington’s Got Talent” variety show will be held on Saturday, Oct. 20 at Landmark on Main Street’s Jeanne Rimsky Theater. Performances will feature soloist and group singers, dancers and instrumentalists.
Auditions for the show will be held on Aug. 29 and Sept. 5 and 6 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Senior Citizens Center located at 80 Manorhaven Blvd. All performers who have been selected for the show will be notified via email no later than Sept. 13.
Performers should bring sheet music or a karaoke version of a song on a CD or smartphone to the audition. Alternatively, a cappella auditions are fine. A brief performance bio is appreciated, but not necessary.
Proceeds from the event will help support programming, hot lunch and other activities at the Senior Center.
