CASA hosts inspirational ‘All In’ speaker in Manhasset

Gian Paul Gonzalez delivered the now famous “All in” rally cry message during the New York Giants’ 2011 chapel service and is widely recognized as having inspired the team to its 2011 Super Bowl victory.

In conjunction with A Vision in Motion Speakers Bureau and the Manhasset School District, the Manhasset Coalition Against Substance Abuse will sponsor a presentation by Gonzalez on March 12 in the Manhasset High School gymnasium beginning at 6 p.m. All students, faculty and parents are welcomed to join.

Gonzalez has been featured on CNN, ESPN and Fox News and has traveled across the country as a motivational speaker for athletic teams, corporations, government agencies and educational institutions.

A former NCAA First Team All-American basketball player from Montclair State University, Gonzalez scored nearly 1,400 points in his three-year career. He holds a master’s degree in educational leadership and is also is the founder of Hope and Future, an organization dedicated to using basketball to share a message of hope and striving for excellence in inner-city public schools and juvenile detention centers.

Since 2001, CASA has served as a resource to reduce youth substance use. CASA seeks to reach teens before they are in trouble, by connecting parents, schools and the community as partners in this common goal.
