Sewanhaka High School invited select seventh- and eighth-graders to the Character Counts Awards ceremony on April 12.
These students were selected by their team teachers because they exhibit strong qualities and are role models for their peers. The ceremony was hosted by Assistant Principal Frank Geritano and members of the Shared Decision-Making Committee. More than 50 students were honored with awards. Each winner was presented with his or her award after listening to a reading about what positive qualities they possess.
