Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth and members of the Town Board attended the Nassau Council of Chambers of Commerce’s 33rd Annual Small Business Person of the Year and Legislative Breakfast at the Crest Hollow Country Club on Oct. 20. 

Manhasset businessowner Stephanie Solomon of Roslyn was honored from the Manhasset Chamber of Commerce as Businessperson of the Year. Solomon owns Manhasset Chocolate Works on Plandome Road.

This event brought out business people from each of the almost 50 local Chambers of Commerce and was attended by more than 600 people, drawing together both legislators and important members of the business community.  Honorees at the event were recognized for promoting business in Nassau County and for addressing issues that impact them.
