Mineola’s First Presbyterian Church will hold their Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at 7:00 PM on Monday, Dec. 24, at the church, located at First and Main Streets (across from the Mineola Post Office building).
The service, under the direction of Pastor Chester Easton, will include seasonal hymns and scripture readings, an upbeat message about the incarnation, and the lighting of candles as everyone sings “Silent Night” together. The congregation is evangelical, and Pastor Easton said “We are very welcoming to anyone seeking to understand more about God’s amazing plan in sending Jesus into the world.”
