North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth, Council Members Lee Seeman and Peter Zuckerman and Town Clerk Wayne Wink honored 25 volunteers of Clark Botanic Garden this week.
The volunteers work in a variety of capacities and locations at the garden, from the rose garden to the greenhouse to other specialty gardens throughout Clark.
Also on hand were Parks and Recreation Commissioner Jill Weber, Deputy Parks Commissioner John Darcy and Town Horticulturist Bonnie Klein.
The volunteers received a citation, followed by a breakfast that was sponsored by Ardito’s Deli of Mineola. Volunteer Leslie Meyers works throughout Clark Garden.
