The Town of North Hempstead’s Clark Botanic Garden was recently featured on AAA magazine’s list of Best Botanic Gardens in the Northeast. Other botanic gardens on the list include those in Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.

“We are so proud that Clark is included on the list of the top gardens to visit this spring,” said North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth. “There so much to see at Clark Botanic Garden. We invite our residents to visit and explore the garden with their families. It is a great way to adhere to social distancing guidelines and enjoy some sun and fresh air.”

Featuring more than 12-acres of planted, well-manicured grounds, Clark Botanic Garden, located at 193 I.U. Willets Road in Albertson is as perfect place to enjoy the spring weather.

Beginning in April, the garden will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Dogs are not permitted in the garden. Visitors are reminded to maintain social distancing guidelines and wear face masks while at the park.
