Daniel Gale opens office in Astoria-Long Island City

The Island Now

Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty announced Monday that it is opening an office in Astoria-Long Island City.  This newest office, which has been in development since the beginning of this year, is poised to take advantage of the rapid development taking hold in the area.

The office will open Nov. 15 in the WeWork Building at 35-37 36th Street in Astoria. Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty Chief Executive Officer Deirdre O’Connell made the announcement.

“The timing of our newest office couldn’t be more auspicious,” said Ms. O’Connell.  “We identified the Long Island City-Astoria neighborhoods as the place to be for our growth strategy, and have been laying the groundwork for this office for some time now. While we finalize the details of the office, we have secured office space at WeWork so that our licensed salespeople have a place to work and meet with their clients and customers.  We’re in the right place at the right time.”

“Right now, there is a lot of synchronicity between Long Island and Astoria/Long Island City, with more Long Islanders looking at the area for both investment and residence. Current residents of Queens are also looking to move to Long Island.

Add to the existing climate the potential revolutionizing impact that a Google expansion in Manhattan or an Amazon headquarters in Long Island City would have in terms of the people, goods and services that it will bring to the area.

With its newest office, Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty real estate advisors will be well positioned to assist these major global corporations with their thousands of employees’ real estate and relocation needs in Queens, Manhattan, Brooklyn, and throughout Long Island.

Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty’s Astoria –Long Island City office will be managed by veteran Sales Manager Donna Rubertone, who also manages the organization’s Bayside/Flushing office.
