Denton Avenue School kindergartners all had an opportunity to visit the Shelter Rock Library and obtain their library cards this May during one of the six separate trips coordinated by the Denton Librarian Donna Deodato.

Children’s Librarian Susan Nolan and other library staff escorted the groups through the public library, read stories and taught them about the Summer Reading program. This free program encourages children to sign up and read during the summer to earn prizes. The students look forward to putting their new library cards to use and exploring many books.
