The Board of Directors of United Cerebral Palsy of Long Island is proud to announce that Dr. Erica Beauplan, Board Certified Internal Medicine physician at Northwell Health has joined the Board of Directors.
“Dr. Erica Beauplan is a dedicated supporter of UCP of Long Island and we are impressed with the impact that she has made on Long Island, both as a medical professional and as a distinguished humanitarian. Erica brings a passion for helping others, especially children, to UCP and I look forward to partnering with her for many years to come”, said Thomas Pfundstein, Chair of the Board of Directors.
Dr. Beauplan is currently responsible for direct inpatient care at Northwell Health at Phelps Memorial Hospital where she has been since 2017. Prior to joining Phelps Memorial Hospital, she received her postdoctoral training at Southampton Hospital in Social Osteopathic Medicine.
In addition to Dr. Beauplan’s impressive career, she remains very active in the community, serving the local communities in which she lives and works. When not caring for acutely ill patients, she immerses herself in her passion for mentorship and teaching. “I am very much honored to join the UCP of Long Island Board of Directors and I look forward to working closely with my fellow board members to ensure that UCP-LI remains a leader in the industry. I feel fortunate to be able to impact lives in such a supportive way, and I am thankful for the opportunity”, said Dr. Beauplan.
