Assemblyman Anthony D’Urso attended the annual Williston Park Independence Day parade, sponsored by the Williston Park Fire Department.
After the parade D’Urso got a chance to meet the heroic firefighters at a ceremony held at the Williston Park Fire Department headquarters. Marchers included the nearby Albertson and East Williston Fire Departments, members of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
“Parades are an excellent way to celebrate our nation’s Independence Day and show our patriotism,” D’Urso said.
