State Assemblyman Anthony D’Urso recently helped to clean Manorhaven Boulevard and plant some of the 600 bulbs and mums on the boulevard. The Village of Manorhaven and Residents Forward organized and sponsored this project known as “Clean Green Manorhaven Boulevard.”

Many students and local residents came to help, including little Lobito, a dog, who bought his owner, Dan Garcia, a new Port Washington resident.

“I look forward to seeing the new flowers come up in the springtime,” said D’Urso, an avid gardener.
