Aisvaryaa Dhama, a senior at The Wheatley School in the East Williston School District, has earned a unique academic recognition for something very few students have accomplished. Aisvaryaa is one of only 375 students worldwide to earn a perfect score on her college-level AP Research Examination this past spring.

AP Examinations are scored on a scale of 1 to 5, with a score of 5 equivalent to a grade of A in the corresponding college course. However, Aisvaryaa went beyond a score of 5, and did not lose a single point on the examination, which is why her achievement is so unique. The district congratulates Aisvaryaa on her extraordinary success and also thanks AP Research teacher Mr. Andrew Ardito for his support and encouragement.
