Only 133 high schools in the nation received this honor, which is given to schools which offer multiple Project Lead The Way courses, have strong student participation and demonstrate high levels of student proficiency in end-of-year assessments.

Introduced in Roslyn High School in 2014, Project Lead The Way was expanded year-by-year until it encompassed a four-year sequence of courses: drawing and design for production, computer integration manufacturing, civil engineering and architecture and principles of engineering.

Students are able to use industry-leading technology and software to investigate a broad range of topics from electronics and robotics to ethics and sustainability. Over the same time period, related grade-appropriate curriculum has also been introduced with success in the Roslyn Middle School and in our elementary schools.
