Floral Park students receive Future business leader awards

The Future Business Leaders of America chapter of Floral Park Memorial High School participated in a three-day conference in Binghamton, New York during the month of April.

Floral Park Memorial students competed against and networked with hundreds of other FBLA members from across the state during the State Leadership Conference, returning with many awards. Beverly Bruno, the current president of the school’s chapter, came home placing in all three of her events.

Marwa Alami, Christina Rivera and Caitlyn Sherry placed third for Public Service Announcement. Edward Geraghty, Mololuwa Ifebajo and Dylan Mattingly place third for Entrepreneurship.

Beverly Bruno placed fourth for Advertising. Dylan Mattingly placed fourth for Organizational Leadership.

Beverly Bruno placed fifth for Organizational Leadership. Mololuwa Ifebajo placed fifth for Sales Presentation. KoKoe Segbedji placed fifth for FBLA Creed Speaking. Natalie Asitimbay, Beverly Bruno and Kokoe Segbedji placed fifth for Business Ethics.
