Floral Park Memorial High School’s Model United Nations team of 24 delegates attended the Delaware University Model UN Conference from March 1-4. The group represented Italy, Marshall Islands and Norway, and won the following individual awards: Anna Burnett, Social, Cultural and Humanitarian Committee, Italy for best delegate, and Andrew Pavlovic, Special, Political and Decolonization. Norway received honorable mention.
In addition, Danielle Ashbahian served as the prime minister of India on a special Joint Crisis Committee, and was named best delegate.
