The Gold Coast SummerArts 2020 online teens program is excited to bring you a mix of arts and enrichment classes specifically designed for teens ages 14 – 17.
The summer session is an excellent way to have fun and sharpen your skills with innovative class offerings focusing on art, technology, film, acting, writing, and research.

Innovative programs such as the Gold Coast Arts’ exclusive write, collaborate, and perform workshops are taught by the renowned Distant Cousins band, who have made a career out of writing, performing, and producing music for television and film.
This is a rare opportunity for students to learn how to write and record their own songs, led by professional band members.
Art classes, such as, “Cultural arts from around the world,” will introduce students to the traditional art forms of various cultures and people by utilizing different techniques and materials created from the original art period, and translating them into their own version of the art form.
Unlock your brilliance and engage in our creative writing class by working on various genres including poetry, slam poetry, short story, playwriting, memoir, blogs, and much more.
The “College essay writing” class is specifically designed for high school juniors and seniors to get a head start on crafting their challenging college essays.
They will learn about common application essay questions, discuss strategies, and develop techniques that will enable them to create their own perfect essay in 650 words or less.
Want to be a star? Try their “Acting for film for teens,” program and learn acting techniques such as improvisation and camera skills that will enable you to work on scenes to be recorded and performed before a virtual audience.
