The Great Neck Alert Fire Company is pleased to announce the installation of the 2018 officers of the Great Neck Alert Junior Firefighters.
The installation ceremony took place on Monday, Jan. 29 at the Alert Fire Company headquarters. The new officers for 2018 are: Capt. Seth Newman, 1st Lt. Julia Motchkavitz, 2nd Lt. Maya Garfinkel, Recording Secretary Niki Talledo, and Financial Secretary Ethan Moezinia.
The Junior Firefighters program is for young adults between the ages of 12 and 17. They meet twice a month and receive training in first aid, CPR, fire safety and participate in other firefighting drills and activities.
