The Great Neck Public Schools Community Ed Fall 2018 and Winter 2019 catalog has been mailed to residents – look for the bold, book-themed cover in mailboxes.

The Great Neck Public Schools hope you will “turn the page,” and make Community Ed part of your next chapter this September.

Community Ed will offer dozens of new courses, as well as day trips, special events, and over one hundred returning favorite classes.

There will be a week-long Community Ed Open House, taking place from Monday, Oct. 1, through Friday, Oct. 5. Interested attendees can visit classes at no cost, tour the facilities, and experience what instructors have to offer in a vast array of disciplines.

Classes meet at the GNPS Community Education Building, 30 Cumberland Avenue, Great Neck, one block south of Northern Blvd., off Lakeville Road.

Registration begins on July 23, with Great Neck school district residents given priority during the first week. If a catalog has not been received by the end of July, please call the schools at (516) 441-4949, or email at gncontinuinged@greatneck.k12.ny.us, and one will be sent. The catalog is also available on the district website at www.greatneck.k12.ny.us/ce. Most classes begin in mid-September.
