Great Neck Library seeks participants for MicroHistories Project

The Island Now

Help your Great Neck Library document how the Great Neck community is coping with the coronavirus, a global pandemic of historic and devastating proportions.

The library’s MicroHistories Project is seeking members of the Great Neck community who want to share and document in short videos (about 30 seconds) their daily life experiences during this extraordinarily trying time.

The Library will edit together multiple videos to create one video documentary of the Great Neck community during this crisis.  These videos will be shared through the Library’s website and social media.

If you would like to participate, please send a 30-second video clip to videos@greatnecklibrary.org.

Include your first and last name in the body of the email.  You will receive a form authorizing the Library to use your video.  You must respond “yes” in order for your video to be used as part of this project.

Please do not include any footage of children under 18 years of age.

Email any questions to jcrossfox@greatnecklibrary.org
