The 2018-19 budget for the Great Neck Library, worth $9.76 million, was passed 1,709 to 456 last week.
Denise Corcoran, the library director, said she and other members of the library wanted to thank voters for supporting the budget.
“The Board of Trustees and staff of the Great Neck Library appreciate the support of the community, shown by the overwhelming approval of the Library’s operating budget,” Corcoran said in a statement. “Thank you for your vote of confidence which enables the Library to continue to deliver services that are responsive to the needs of the community.”
