Greater Long Island Running Club partners with EiserAmper and Long Island Care

The Island Now

It is our great pleasure to announce that the Greater Long Island Running Club will be partnering with EisnerAmper and Long Island Cares for its March 13 Neil Chadderton Memorial EisnerAmper 4 Mile Run in Eisenhower Park in Westbury.
The 4-mile run is dedicated to Neil Chadderton who passed away in September 2021 at the young age of 59. Neil supported the running community by serving many years on the board of the North Country Road Warriors and was a longtime GLIRC stalwart.

“Neil was a very personable and extremely liked guy who always had a smile on his face,” said Frank Capone, GLIRC board member. “He was truly a team player who will always be remembered.”

EisnerAmper is returning yet again this year as the title sponsor. EisnerAmper is one of the premier tax and business advisory firms in the U.S., with more than 2,000 employees and over 200 partners around the world.

The EisnerAmper Cares program supports the volunteer efforts of their employees in the community. “We are very excited and grateful to have EisnerAmper as the title sponsor for this event”, said Katie Pearlman, GLIRC executive director. “Their Cares program aligns perfectly with our mission.”

Long Island Cares – the Harry Chapin Food Bank has been named the charitable beneficiary of the event. The organization is dedicated to serving Long Island’s hungry and food insecure population, and works toward the vision of a ‘Hunger Free Long Island.’
