Valentine’s Day Special at the Rink:

Celebrate Valentine’s Day, Friday, Feb. 14 at the Andrew Stergiopoulos Ice Rink. Wear red and receive $1 off the admission price to each public session. Visit www.GNParks.org for the complete public session schedule.

Nature Program: Just-A-Hike

Join us Saturday, Feb. 29 at 11 a.m., at Muttontown Preserve (equestrian entrance) in East Norwich. You will be able to relax and socialize during this moderately-paced hike. Trails may be muddy. Register online at gnparks.org or call (516) 487-GNPD. Children under 16 may not attend.

Camp Parkwood Winter Season at the Parkwood Sports Complex:

Children, ages 4 1/2-10, can enjoy the February session of Winter Camp Parkwood, Monday, Feb. 17- Friday, Feb. 21, 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Activities include tennis, skating/hockey, archery, gymnastics and more. The children are grouped by age; lunch may be purchased at our snack bar ($8 per day) or can be brought from home. Residents fee $450; Non-Residents fee $500. Daily fee for residents $120; non-residents $150. Register online at gnparks.org or call (516) 482-0355.

February Jr. Winter Tennis Camp:

Tennis players, ages 6-17, can improve their game during the school break from Monday, Feb. 17 through Friday, Feb. 21, 12 -4 p.m. at Parkwood Tennis Center. Participants learn tennis skills through instruction, games and match play. Register by the day or week at www.GNParks.org. Residents, $80 per day; non-residents, $100 per day.

Defensive Driving Classes at Great Neck House:

Great Neck House offers Empire Safety Council Defensive Driving Classes on the first Saturday of every month. There will be a class on Saturday, Mar. 7 from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. To sign up for a class or for more information, call Great Neck House at 482-0355.
