Nature Program: Long Walk Sunday, March 8, come to Kings Point Park to get some exercise and learn about nature while we tour the perimeter of our own 175-acre preserve. Defensive Driving Classes at Great Neck House: Great Neck House offers Empire Safety Council Defensive Driving Classes on the first Saturday of every month. There will be a class on Saturday, March 7 from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. To sign up for a class or for more information, call Great Neck House at 482-0355.

Sunday @ 3: Jess Klein Jess Klein performs at Great Neck House, Sunday, March 8 at 3 p.m. Ms. Klein is a singer-songwriter who, as a teenager, began playing acoustic guitar and writing songs while living in Kingston, Jamaica. Klein moved to Boston upon her return home and began performing locally. Jon Pareles of The New York Times calls her “a songwriter with a voice of unblinking tenacity…who finds parables in the everyday and also finds humanity behind the archetypal.” A park pass is required for admission.

Weekend Movie at Great Neck House Where’d You Go Bernadette (2019):, starring Cate Blanchett, Billy Crudup, and Kristen Wiig, is playing at Great Neck House on Friday, Mar. 6 at 8 p.m.; Saturday, March 7 at 5 & 8 p.m. and Sunday, March 8 at 7:30 p.m. Based on the bestseller, this film is an inspiring comedy about Bernadette Fox, a loving mom who becomes compelled to reconnect with her creative passions after years of sacrificing herself for her family. Her leap of faith takes her on an epic adventure that jump-starts her life and leads to her triumphant rediscovery.

It is rated PG-13; runs 1h 49 minutes. A park pass is required for admission.
