The class had read a book called “Heartprints” in school which inspired them to spread kindness to residents at Sunharbor Manor at a Valentine’s celebration.

With music teacher Jessica Thorn’s talented leadership the class sang songs about friendship and incorporated bean bags as a way to “Shake Rattle and Roll” with their new friends at Sunharbor Manor.

They even practiced spelling skills as they sang “Bingo” together.  The children distributed Valentine hearts and read poems.  They also played a game of passing a ball and talking about their favorite foods.

As a gift, the class left a paper-made quilt to remember the visit and newfound friendships.
