On May 2, Chamber Choirs from Herricks Middle School and Herricks High School performed a concert of choral music at St. John’s Episcopal Church of Lattingtown.
This was the inaugural collaborative concert between these two ensembles and St. John’s has invited the choirs to sing again next spring. The Chamber Choirs performed choral works by composers including Tomás Luis de Victoria, G. F. Handel, Vaughan Williams, Benjamin Britten, Neil Ginsberg, and Rollo Dilworth. Directors Louise O’Hanlon and James Ludwig are both so proud of these students and the many hours of hard work they put in preparing this program.
