A team of educators representing Center Street, Denton Avenue and Searingtown elementary schools, Herricks Middle School and Herricks High School took on the Harlem Wizards in a basketball competition on March 3 in the high school gymnasium.
The game is an annual event that brings the district and community together to support the Herricks PTA Scholarship Fund.

The Herricks Highlanders team was comprised of 30 staff members who came in only 10 points behind the professionals with a final score of 46 to 56.
The day also included raffles and refreshments. PTA members Kam Jonal, Gina McLaughlin and Dorothy Gootman facilitated the entire function.
