In new ranking results announced by U.S. News & World Report, Herricks Middle School placed among the top middle schools in New York State at No. 29 and is No. 3 out of those from Long Island. The building’s reading and math performance data was described as “Well Above Expectation” by the publication.
The lists for best preschools, elementary schools and middle schools are new developments introduced by U.S. News & World Report this year. U.S. News & World Report analyzed 102,610 pre-K, elementary and middle schools to form lists for each level.
