A crowd of hundreds of men and women from across Long Island attended the 19th Annual Long Island “Go Red for Women” Luncheon on Thursday, Feb. 27.  The sea of red could be seen throughout all the rooms at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury.

This year’s Luncheon honored Nicole Penn, president of EGC Group, Barbara Liquori, senior market sales executive northeast, Capital One Bank, and the nurses of Mount Sinai South Nassau.

The honorees are committed to raising support and creating awareness about heart disease and stroke especially, as it pertains to women. Guests also heard from Santina Guarcello Hunt, a heart disease survivor from Long Island. Mary Murphy from PIX11 emceed the event.

The American Heart Association’s 19th annual “Go Red for Women” Luncheon combined an elegant luncheon reception, silent auction, and networking opportunities. The Luncheon featured educational breakout sessions presented by recognized and credentialed healthcare professionals, providing women with information, resources and hope to take action and live a longer, stronger life.

The 2020 American Heart Association “Go Red for Women” Luncheon is nationally sponsored by CVS Health. Bradley & Parker, Petro Home Services and Mount Sinai South Nassau are our Long Island Life Is Why Sponsors.
