King Kullen Grocery Company, Inc. recently presented Cohen’s Children’s Medical Center with a check for $3,000, a portion of which was raised through the generosity of King Kullen and Wild by Nature customers during an in-store scanned coupon program in August and September. Stony Brook Children’s Hospital in Suffolk County also received a $3,000 check from King Kullen as part of the same campaign.

A Magnet children’s hospital, Cohen’s Children’s Medical Center is part of Northwell Health and ranked by U.S. News & World Report as one of the nation’s best children’s hospitals. Stony Brook Children’s Hospital provides advanced medical care for Long Island’s children and is part of a major academic medical center.

Headquartered in Bethpage, NY, King Kullen is recognized by the Smithsonian Institution as American’s first supermarket. Founded in 1930 by Michael J. Cullen, King Kullen operates 32 supermarkets and five Wild by Nature stores in Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
