Students at Center Street School took part in educational games through the Breakout EDU learning platform.

Under the guidance of Library Media Specialist Colleen Friel and Technology Teacher Dominic Papagno, fifth-graders participated as teams and worked collaboratively to solve an assortment of problems in order to open locked boxes.

This activity was based on the book, “The Dot,” which was selected in conjunction with International Dot Day celebrations of creativity, collaboration and courage. The group unlocked the book in the box and then took on various challenges to open and read it.
