Nassau County Legislator Ellen W. Birnbaum (D – Great Neck), Nassau County Executive Laura Curran and leaders of the New York/New Jersey Regional Office of the Anti-Defamation League met at the Theodore Roosevelt Executive and Legislative Building on Thursday, Jan. 30.

The meeting, which was spearheaded by Legislator Birnbaum, focused on exploring opportunities to collaborate on initiatives designed to advance public safety, anti-hate and other community initiatives.

“I remain steadfastly committed to taking every necessary step to eradicate the scourge of anti-Semitism and hatred wherever it may exist,” Birnbaum said. “By partnering with our colleagues in government and continuing to work closely with the leaders of organizations like the Anti-Defamation League, we stand shoulder to shoulder in support of creating more inclusive communities. I thank County Executive Curran and the ADL for their partnership and leadership in this essential endeavor.”
