Nassau County Legislator Ellen W. Birnbaum (D – Great Neck) attended the Greater New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce President’s Gala on Thursday, Jan. 16. During the celebration, Legislator Birnbaum welcomed incoming President Reena Gulati and recognized outgoing President Jeanette Frisina for her contributions to the Chamber. In addition, the Chamber raised funds for local charities through a silent auction conducted during the event.
“Local chambers of commerce play a vital role as advocates for the small businesses in our vibrant downtowns,” Legislator Birnbaum said. “I thank Jeanette Frisina for embracing her role as a community advocate during her tenure, and I look forward to a productive year working alongside Reena Gulati and the New Hyde Park community.”
