She Kills Monsters: Virtual Realms is a coming-of-age story about high school cheerleader Agnes Evans, who is dealing with the death of her 15-year-old sister, Tilly.  When Agnes finds Tilly’s Dungeons & Dragons notebook, she stumbles into a fantasy adventure in the imaginary gaming world that was Tilly’s refuge.  In the game, Agnes encounters homicidal fairies, gamer-bro demons, five-headed dragons, and the truth about Tilly’s secret life and love.  The play has been specially adapted by the author for virtual online performance and contains some mature material.

The all-student production staff includes director Leah Schader, producers Aliza Fine and Maurice Zalta, original music composer Samuel Calto, art designer/choreographer Britt Trachtenberg, costume designers Gabriella Lopez and Nina Zar, and technical consultant Tyler “T-Rex” Hakimian. Levels alumn Billy Miecuna is master control operator. The cast of middle school, high school and college students includes Samuel Calto, Giana Colombo, Tals Elyaho, Sam Friedmann, Kylie Hoffman, Emily Hyman, Gabriella Lopez, Tiana Newman, Daliah Segal, Ben Pitt Stoller, Jessica Tamari, Britt Trachtenberg and Nina Zar.
