Are YOU ready to take the plunge?
Join the members of the Great Neck Alert Fire Company as they support Great Neck resident Erin Lipinsky at the 14th Annual Town of North Hempstead Polar Plunge, Saturday March 3 at North Hempstead Beach Park in Port Washington.
Funds raised will go to support the athletes of Special Olympics New York. Last year, Erin raised over $12,000 and this year he’ll be “Freezin’ for a Reason” with a goal of $10,000. Erin is a longtime member of the Great Neck Spirits Basketball Team for Special Olympics.
Anyone interested in taking the plunge should sign up at www.polarplungeNY.org/northhempstead. Check-in is between 10-11:30 a.m., plunge is at 12 noon.
