Lauren D. Esposito of Port Washington was named to the President’s List at LIM College for the Fall 2017 semester. To be placed on the President’s List students must earn a grade point average between 3.8 and 4.0.

Roslyn Native Molli Michalik was named to Dean’s List at Ithaca College for the fall 2017 semester.

Seton Hall University has announced the following students who qualified for Fall 2017 Dean’s list and to congratulate them for their outstanding academic achievements:

Sarah Weynand of Albertson, i s performing in Wilkes University Theatre’s production of The Crucible Feb. 22-25. The performances will take place on Feb. 22, 23 and 24 at 8 p.m. with matinee performances on Feb. 24 and 25 at 2 p.m. The production will occur at Wilkes’ Dorothy Dickson Darte Center for the Performing Arts, 239 S. River St. Weynand is playing the role of Mercy Lewis.

SUNY New Paltz announces its Dean’s List for the fall 2017 semester, a recognition for students who excel academically and earn at least a 3.3 grade-point average in a semester with a full-time course load.

Kelly Nardone of Port Washington has earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta.

Nardone was among approximately 3,100 undergraduate and graduate students who received degrees during Georgia Tech’s 254th Commencement exercises on Dec. 15-16, 2017, at the McCamish Pavilion.

Twenty six SUNY Oneonta students attended The NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) Show in Anaheim, Calif., from Jan. 25 to 28. The annual trade show is a The NAMM Show is a place for professionals in the music industry to explore and discover innovative new products being released in the new year.

The students got a firsthand look at how music retail and music business go hand-in-hand, testing out the latest products from more than 7,000 brands, attending cutting-edge industry education sessions and demonstrations, and seeing lots of live performances.

Audrey Brooker of New Hyde Park has been named to the Deans’ List/Explore Center List of Distinguished Students at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for the fall semester of the 2017-18 academic year.

Brooker, a freshman broadcasting, and sports media and communication major, was named to the Dean’s List for the College of Journalism and Mass Communications.

More than 5,100 students at Nebraska have been named to the Deans’ List for the fall semester.

Brandon Martinez of New Hyde Park graduated in December 2017 from the State University of New York College of Technology at Delhi with an associate’s degree in Criminal Justice Studies.

Denny Li of Roslyn Heightswas part of a team that placed first in the Residential Construction Management Competition held by the National Association of Home Builders in conjunction with the International Builders Show in Orlando, FL in January.

“This first place finish is a great complement to the SAFE Award received last year from the NAHB and to the third place finish in the same competition received in 2016,” said Assistant Professor Alex Brownell, team coach and club advisor. “Over the past four years, we have performed exceptionally well at this event, proving the superior level of instruction students receive in SUNY Delhi’s Residential Construction program.”

Saumya Valasareddi has been named to the fall 2017 Dean’s List at University of the Sciences. Selection for this award is based on completing and passing all assigned courses with no grade below a “C” and attaining an academic average of at least 3.4 for courses taken in the fall of 2017.

Valasareddi of Albertson is a biomedical sciences student.

Hofstra University is proud to announce the Fall 2017 Provost’s List, which recognizes students who have earned a perfect 4.0 grade point average.

Caroline Stigliano of New Hyde Park, NY has been cited for academic achievement for the Fall 2017 semester by achieving the Dean’s List at the State University of New York College of Technology at Delhi.

Stigliano is pursuing an associate’s degree in Veterinary Science Technology. To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must have an academic average of 3.50 or higher within the semester.

New Hyde Park Native Abby Wizel Named to Dean’s List at Ithaca College

Katie Conte of East Williston, a Health major, was named to the Dean’s List in the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance.

Emily Roach of Williston Park, a Music Education major, was named to the Dean’s List in the School of Music.

Kerri Barnett of Mineola, a Music Education major, was named to the Dean’s List in the School of Music.

Alison Ricchiuti of New Hyde Park graduated from Ithaca College with a BS in Therapeutic Recreation. The degree was awarded in December 2017.

Cristina Pinto has been named to the Siena College Dean’s List for the Fall 2017 semester. Pinto is from Mineola.

To be named to the Dean’s List, a student’s grade point average for the semester must be between 3.5 and 3.89.
