Roger Williams University announced that Mary Cahill, of East Williston, graduated with a B.S. in Management in May as part of the Class of 2018.

Rachel Gordon, of Great Neck, graduated with a B.A. in Public Relations in May as part of the Class of 2018.

The following local students received a degree from Washington and Lee University on May 24. Commencement ceremonies for 441 Washington and Lee seniors were held on the University’s historic Front Lawn:

Riley Lourdes Garcia of Manhasset, received a BA degree and majored in Spanish and Strategic Communication.

Ryan Paul Lennon of Manhasset, received a BSC degree and majored in Accounting and Business Administration.

Students at Lehigh University attained Dean’s List in Spring 2018. This status is granted to students who earned a scholastic average of 3.6 or better while carrying at least 12 hours of regularly graded courses.

Steven Blikstein of Great Neck, has been named to the President’s List at Western New England University for the Spring 2018. Blikstein is working toward a Doctor of Pharmacy.

Amanda Ashley Turner of New Hyde Park, has earned a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy and Bachelor of Science in Health Science with a minor in Psychology. Turner completed studies on Main Campus in Reading, Pa .

Wilkes University Provost Dr. Anne Skleder announced the Dean’s List for the spring 2018 semester. To be named to the Dean’s List, Sarah Weynand of Albertson obtained a minimum 3.5 grade point average and carried at least 12 credits.

Muhlenberg College held its 170th baccalaureate and commencement ceremonies on May 17 and 18. A total of 519 degrees were awarded to 511 students, and 267 students in the Class of 2018 graduated with honors and distinctions.
